What’s covered?
While you can't work, the cover repays 10% of the outstanding balance on your NatWest credit card - every month for a year.
How much does it cost?
PPI costs 79p per £100 or part thereof based upon the highest balance shown on your monthly statement. This means 79p a month for a balance of £100 and £1.58 a month for a balance of £200 and so on. Monthly charges will continue unless there is a nil balance for the whole statement month. Interest, where applicable, will be charged in line with our terms and conditions.
How to apply
Simply select Payment Protection when you apply online for your NatWest Credit Card. As it is up to you to make sure the policy is right for your needs, please check that you are be eligible to claim benefits.
On the date of commencement you must
- Be aged between 18 and 64
- Be working in the UK including self-employment for at least 16 hours per week, or where applicable, you are on statutory maternity or paternity leave
- Be named as the principal cardholder under your agreement (A claim cannot be considered for additional cardholders)
Significant exclusions apply so it is important that you read the full policy document provided during the application process before the end of the cancellation period.
Students cannot apply for payment protection.
